Why Go Along with the Gimmick of Palestinian-ism?

The decades-long movement to eliminate the history of Jews in Israel and replace it with a false "Palestinian" one has come to fruition. We see it in all the people who believe that Palestine exists. We see it in those who believe there is a unique Muslim "Palestinian people" and that Jews stole their land. The lies of Palestinian-ism are the foundation for so much of the hatred against Jews and Israel that surrounds us today.

NCCI Members Advocate for Jewish American Heritage Month

While the White House has declared May Jewish Heritage Month nationally, it's important to pass similar proclamations at the local level too. This raises visibility of the Jewish community at a time when many are in fear and prefer to be hidden. It reaffirms the extensive contributions Jews have provided to American communities, past and present. NCCI chooses to stand tall and proclaim Jewish pride. We celebrate our member's successes in the town of Apex and Orange County.

Your Letters Made a Difference, Duke SJP Suspended!

You did it! Thanks to our readers for writing to Duke University to protest the graphic from Students for Justice in Palestine showing Americans and Israelis/Jews as slobbering, war-mongering pigs. At least ten students filed a complaint with the Office of Institutional Equity. NCCI also initiated a letter writing campaign demanding that SJP be shut down.

Duke University is back to tolerating antisemitism. Readers may recall that in March, Duke's Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapter posted an antisemitic graphic. In response to this and other bad behavior, Duke suspended the chapter. Shortly thereafter, Duke's Student Affairs lifted the suspension, claiming there was "insufficient information to support the existence of a hostile educational environment,” SJP immediately re-posted the offensive meme. Please take action by signing the petition below demanding that Duke's SJP chapter be banned.

The University of North Carolina Normalizes Terrorism

The University of North Carolina (UNC) has found a new way to miseducate students about Israel and the Middle East. UNC's latest fumble comes from the new School of Civic Life and Leadership (SCiLL) via a course entitled Courageous Conversations: Israel and Palestine. School leaders held a public forum to tout their efforts. On a different more cheerful note, NCCI suggests watching the embedded Dancing with the Stars Chanukah video!
