NCCI has been very busy in recent months with activities that build grassroots coalitions in support of Israel. Examples include:
Several of our supporters went to the CUFI Washington Summit this summer, joining 1500 Jewish and Christian advocates for Israel and the Zionist vision. While there, they met with our Senators and Representatives on Capitol Hill to voice support for three pieces of legislation that are important to the safety and well-being of Israel and the Jewish people – for more information link to article: 2022 CUFI Conference Was a Winner!
More recently, we organized a counter-protest with less than 24-hour’s notice to a BDS demonstration led by Google workers and anti-Israel community organizers against company contracts with Israel. This effort brought together NCCI with Duke Students Supporting Israel (SSI) and other local grassroots organizations – click here for details: Thank You Google, for Saying NO to Hatred of Jews.
We met with leaders of the Atlanta Israel Coalition and End Jew Hatred as part of efforts to encourage collaboration of grassroots Israel advocacy groups [photo above]. While small pro-Israel groups in many locations may be nimble and able to address local crises very rapidly, there is also strength in numbers and in sharing best practices.
